Roteco is the brand of Castroteco S.A. of Ponteareas in Galicia, which built its first motocultor in 1978 and still manufactures there: a range of motoazadas (Europa 900/1100), multi-function motocultores (Supertriss, Avenger, Champion, Trisstar, and the Mid and Durán "Chimpín" models that are part of rural Galician life), motosegadoras and transporters, mostly with Roteco-badged petrol and diesel engines or Kohler options, sold through Spanish agricultural dealers. Nearly fifty years of local manufacture and simple, repairable mechanics are the pitch.
