Machine finder: which rotavator or two-wheel tractor fits your plot?
Answer the questions and the list below shows the machines in our catalogue that fit. It filters on the same specifications as our machine pages (working width, weight, power source and indicative price) and nothing else: no sponsored placements, no scores.
* A figure is still being verified; the machine page says which.
How the finder decides
- Loosening and weeding: electric cultivators, and petrol garden tillers up to 40 kg.
- Digging over a vegetable garden: petrol and diesel garden tillers.
- Breaking new or compacted ground: two-wheel tractors, and garden tillers of 50 kg or more. Weight keeps the tines in hard ground instead of letting the machine bounce over it.
- Running implements: two-wheel tractors, which drive or pull implements such as a plough, a mower bar or a trailer.
- Plot size goes by working width: up to 45 cm for raised beds and small gardens, 40 to 80 cm for a vegetable garden or allotment, 60 cm or more (or any two-wheel tractor) for a large plot.
- Budget compares the lower end of our indicative price range; confirm the price with the seller.
